Gemstone: Morganite

Morganite is a pink beryl discovered in early 1900s, they are physically akin to aquamarines. The gemstone's blush tone comes from its manganese content, and is also rich in pleochroism–the optical phenomenon of gemstones possessing different colors at different angles (like tourmaline).

Care: While generally strong, avoid dropping your morganite jewelry onto hard surfaces. To clean your morganite jewelry, wash with warm water and a mild soap. Do not use an ultrasonic or steam cleaner to clean.
